Terms and Conditions
1. Placing an order
1.1 Orders can be placed either directly via the website or by calling us on 01274 497 555.
1.2 Once an order has been placed you will receive an email confirming your order and delivery details within 24 hours. Please ensure you read the email carefully and contact us if any amendments need to be made
1.3 Home-stock.co.uk will store your data securely and it will not be passed to any third parties. We do not store your card details and they cannot be seen by any employees within Home-stock.co.uk.
2. Product Specifications
2.1 The process in which we update our product list online can sometimes mean that the item in question may have a slightly different colour as to the one seen on the screen. All of our images are taken in store and we endeavour to ensure all descriptions and pictures are as accurate as we can. On occasions the pixels and screen resolution can mean that there are slight differences however a general rule we advise that all items may look darker in reality. We will always look to abide by your rights and will happily receive the item back into our warehouse providing that our terms and conditions are met. However, please bare in mind that the original carriage charge is payable by you, the customer as a cost of shipping back to the sale location. The item must be received in the same condition that it was originally sold. If the product was sold as ‘New’ then we would expect to receive the item still in the ‘New’ condition.
2.2 The majority of our products are sold fully assembled, however on occasions certain pieces will need minimal assembly, this has been deemed fit to protect the item in carriage. All items needing assembly will have instructions included.
3.1 All prices include VAT, where appropriate, at the prevailing rate and are subject to any promotional offer or discount.
3.2 The prices displayed on the website in relation to any on-line promotion are valid strictly until midnight on the day on which the promotion expires, as determined by us.
3.3 We will not be bound to honour any prices, where we have indicated to you subsequently that the prices displayed have been displayed in error. In these cases a refund will be offered.
4.1 Payment for your order is made at the point of placing the order. We accept most types of credit and debit card. Alternatively, you can pay by cheque, postal order or bank transfer. Please contact us if you wish to pay via any of these three methods.
4.2 We will advise you if your payment details cannot be authorised for any reason or if your cheque/BACS payment has failed to clear. We will then arrange for payment to be made by another method. Items will not be dispatched until funds have been cleared.

5.1 Home-stock.co.uk offers free delivery on orders over £2000.
5.2 The free delivery offer excludes the following postcodes and areas: IV, DD, PA, Northern and Southern Ireland, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, Channel Islands and Scottish Isles. If you do live in any of these areas, an additional surcharge may apply. Please ensure that you contact us directly to ensure that we are able to meet your needs.
5.3 We have the right to waive the surcharge in certain circumstances, mainly depending on order value and the amount of items ordered.
5.4 Our general lead time on all items is 3-10 working days (within a fortnight). However, our mission is to get the items delivered to your home within the first week of placing your order. If you require furniture urgently or within a certain time frame, please contact us prior to placing your order.
5.5 If for some reason we are unable to deliver within our general lead time of 5-10 working days, we shall contact you directly to advise.
5.6 Home-Stock.co.uk has the right to charge you for delivery if the initial delivery fails and we incur a second delivery charge from our couriers.
5.7 If our carriers accidentally damage goods in the course of delivery our liability for that damage is limited to the repair, replacement or refund of the goods or the value thereof.
5.8 Time of delivery is not of the essence in these terms and conditions. We will not be liable for any loss or damage suffered by you through any reasonable delay or delay due to unforeseen circumstances outside of the reasonable control of contact us or any reasonable rescheduling of delivery.
5.9 You are responsible for providing a safe means of access from the public highway to the place of delivery. If the carriers delivery staff consider that access is unsafe then we will not deliver the goods until safe access is provided.
5.10 The delivery driver has the right to refuse carrying the furniture to the room of your choice, especially if no assistance is provided or it would be difficult to carry the item to the specific room.
5.11 Please be advised that whilst every care will be taken by the delivery drivers, we cannot be held responsible for any damages that occur to your property or possessions whilst the delivery is in progress. Please therefore take care to cover any carpets or furniture and remove pictures and valuables from the delivery area.

6. Returns, Refunds and Your Right to Cancel
6.1 You have the statutory right to return any products you have purchased within fourteen (14) days after the delivery for any reason (including if you simply change your mind). To do so you must notify us in writing or other durable medium (including email) within those fourteen (14) days. We will not be able to accept any written correspondence from any form of Social Media, i.e. Facebook / Twitter. You will then be entitled to a refund from us, which will be paid as soon as we have received the item back in our possession. Please keep the products purchased in the same condition that they were received and retain the original packaging in the condition it was provided and delivered to you. We reserve the right to ask the customer to pay all relevant costs of return of items. Bespoke/made to order items do not carry the same return policy. Please read below for extra details of returns of made to order items.
6.2 After this 14 day period has expired we will be unable to accept returns of any items purchased unless faulty. For an item to be classified as faulty the product must be in less than perfect condition, dysfunctional or of unmerchantable quality at the time of delivery. A fault may also be classified as a defect which manifests itself within a reasonable period of time after delivery which can be attributed unanimously to a manufacturing defect or poor quality workmanship and not due to maltreatment by the customer.
We endeavour to ensure that you are happy with your items as soon as you have purchased, please do not hesitate to contact us.
6.3 If we deliver incorrect or damaged goods, or in the event that you discover any defect in the goods for which you require compensation or other remedy. You must report the defect within 7 days of the date you receive them, or as soon as possible thereafter by emailing us. Any defects or damages must be reported to us within 7 days and we must be emailed images/photos of the damage/fault within the 7 working days and before any return, refund or replacement is carried out. Please keep the products purchased in the same condition that they were received and retain the original packaging in the condition it was provided.
We reserve the right to refuse return of items should the original packaging not be available to allow the safe return via our carriers. If we receive the goods back with us and they are damaged due to them not being repackaged sufficiently in their original packaging we will charge you for the reduction in value. Should it be deemed impractical to offer a replacement, redelivery or re-selection of any damaged or faulty items we reserve the right to offer an allowance against a repair, or alternatively a refund for your purchase. Any non faulty items returned will always be returned at the expense of the customer. Please contact us immediately in any event to ensure that we are able to respond in a timely manner to rectify any issues
6.4 We will not be liable for any damage or loss resulting from repairs attempted by you or third parties.
6.6 Under no circumstance do we allow a return of a product after 30 days from delivery
6.7 We do not accept the return of any items that do not have the original packaging
7. Site Content and Disclaimers
7.1 Every effort is made to ensure the complete accuracy of our website, however some prices/details contained on the website may change from time to time and it is possible that errors will occur. We will use our best endeavours to rectify any errors, as swiftly as possible but we cannot be responsible for any losses incurred.
7.2 To the maximum extent permissible by law. We exclude all warranties, express or implied as to the accuracy of the information contained in any of the materials on this website. We cannot accept liability for any particular material on the website or as a result of any use of or reliance placed upon the information contained on this website.
8. Applicable Law
8.1 We control and operate the web site from our offices within England. Accordingly the laws of England and Wales govern claims relating to, including the use of, this website and the materials contained therein.
If you choose to access our web site from outside England and Wales you do so on your own initiative and you hereby agree that in the event of a dispute between ourselves and you the laws of England and Wales will apply at all times.
